James Kirk
Known as “Jimbo” by the staff, James Kirk made terrific progress at Ballard Rehabilitation Hospital as he recovered from a second stroke.
In just one week, Jimbo went from ambulating only a few feet to covering 60-80 feet with contact guard assist. Seeing what Jimbo accomplished through his hard work and focus was pretty amazing.
Today, Jimbo is back to his baseline. Following his first stroke and before the second, Jimbo could do everything for himself and only experienced issues with his speech (see his video testimonial from his first rehab stay, below). It takes him great effort to annunciate his words clearly to be understood. Beyond that, Jimbo says he is “good to go!”
Congratulations, Jimbo, for a job well done!
